Week 7: AAC Women's Tennis Player of the Week

WALESKA, Ga. - Emma Ackermann of Brenau is the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Women's Tennis Player of the Week, the league announced Monday.

This is the seventh edition of the weekly honors for the 2026 season. The next set of awards will be announced on April 20.

AAC Women's Tennis Player of the Week
Emma Ackermann - Brenau - Freshman

• Went 1-0 at No. 2 singles and No. 1 doubles against NCAA Division II Piedmont (Ga.).
• Won her singles match 6-0, 6-3. 
• In doubles play, won 6-4.
• This is her first weekly award this season.
