Week 1: AAC Women's Volleyball Players of the Week
WALESKA, Ga. - Juliette Baffico of Reinhardt is the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Volleyball Attacker of the Week, while Silvia Aguado of Reinhardt and Nathalia Quintero of Brenau are the Defender and Setter of the Week, respectively.
The league announced the awards on Monday.
This is the first edition of the awards for the 2025 season. The next set of awards will be announced on Sept. 1.
AAC Attacker of the Week
Juliette Baffico - Reinhardt - Junior
- Helped Reinhardt to a 4-0 record.
- Averaged 3.42 kills per set and posted a .205 hitting percentage on the week.
- Logged 14 kills and had 13 digs in a 3-0 win over Florida College.
- Posted 41 kills, 1 assist, 5 aces, 42 digs, and 4 blocks on the week.
- This is her first weekly honor of the season.
AAC Defender of the Week
Silvia Aguado - Reinhardt - Sophomore
- Averaged 5.38 digs per set.
- Posted 70 digs in 13 sets.
- Registered 26 digs in a 3-1 win over Webber International (Fla.).
- Also had 20 assists and 7 aces.
- This is her first weekly honor of the season.
AAC Setter of the Week
Nathalia Quintero - Brenau - Junior
- Averaged 8.80 assists per game in helping Brenau to a 3-1 record on the week.
- Posted 44 assists in the 3-1 win over Webber International (Fla.).
- Notched 2 double-doubles in 4 matches.
- Had 132 assists, 9 kills, 11 aces, 36 digs, and 6 blocks on the week.
- This is her first weekly honor of the season.
