Week 5: AAC Women's Volleyball Players of the Week

WALESKA, Ga. - Faith Breitbarth of Reinhardt is the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Volleyball Attacker of the Week, while Sydney Worde of Union Commonwealth and Chloie Brinton of Pikeville are the Defender and Setter of the Week, respectively.

The league announced the awards on Monday.

This is the fifth edition of the awards for the 2025 season. The next set of awards will be announced on Sept. 29.

AAC Attacker of the Week
Faith Breitbarth - Reinhardt - Junior

• Averaged 3.57 kills per set as she had 25 in 7 sets.
• Added 10 digs, 2 aces, 1 assist, and 4 blocks.
• This is her first weekly honor of the season.

AAC Defender of the Week
Sydeny Worde - Union Commonwealth - Junior

• Averaged 6.20 digs per set.
• Recorded 31 digs in a 3-2 win over Milligan.
• Added 6 assists.
• This is her first weekly honor of the season.

AAC Setter of the Week
Chloie Brinton - Pikeville - Junior

• Averaged 11.25 assists per set.
• Had 90 assists in 8 sets.
• Had 53 assists in a 3-1 win over Bryan.
• Recorded 2 double-doubles.
• Also had 26 digs and 3 aces.
• This is her third weekly honor of the season.
