Week 7: AAC Women's Volleyball Players of the Week

WALESKA, Ga. - Juliette Baffico of Reinhardt is the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Volleyball Attacker of the Week, while Lydia Gustafson of Columbia International and Macy Brooks of Columbia International are the Defender and Setter of the Week, respectively.

The league announced the awards on Monday.

This is the seventh edition of the awards for the 2025 season. The next set of awards will be announced on Oct. 13.

AAC Attacker of the Week
Juliette Baffico - Reinhardt - Junior

• Averaged 4.0 kills per set as she had 24 in 6 sets.
• Posted a .391 hitting percentage in helping Reinhardt to 2 sweeps.
• Added 11 digs and 1 ace.
• This is her second weekly honor of the season.

AAC Defender of the Week
Lydia Gustafson - Columbia International - Senior

• Averaged 2.22 blocks per set.
• Collected 20 total blocks, including 5 solo blocks, in 9 sets.
• Also had 23 kills, 1 assist, and 2 digs.
• Posted a .550 hitting percentage.
• This is her first weekly honor of the season.

AAC Setter of the Week
Macy Brooks - Columbia International - Freshman

• Averaged 11.80 assists per set.
• Had 59 assists in 5 sets.
• Had 41 assists in a 3-0 win over Truett McConnell.
• Recorded 1 double-double.
• Also had 13 digs, 1 block, and 2 aces.
• This is her first weekly honor of the season.
