Week 8: AAC Women's Volleyball Players of the Week

WALESKA, Ga. - Abigail Brown of Johnson is the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Volleyball Attacker of the Week, while Silvia Aguado of Reinhardt and Faith Wilson of Milligan are the Defender and Setter of the Week, respectively.

The league announced the awards on Monday.

This is the eighth edition of the awards for the 2025 season. The next set of awards will be announced on Oct. 20.

AAC Attacker of the Week
Abigail Brown - Johnson - Graduate Student

• Averaged 4.40 kills per set as she had 66 in 15 sets.
• Posted a .314 hitting percentage in helping Johnson to a 3-1 record.
• Added 17 digs, 10 blocks, and 2 aces.
• This is her second weekly honor of the season.

AAC Defender of the Week
Silvia Aguado - Reinhardt - Sophomore

• Averaged 7.17 digs per set.
• Collected 43 digs in 6 sets as Reinhardt recorded 2 sweeps.
• Had 24 digs in a 3-0 win over Bluefield.
• This is her second weekly honor of the season.

AAC Setter of the Week
Faith Wilson - Milligan - Sophomore

• Averaged 11.50 assists per set.
• Had 138 assists in 12 sets.
• Had 55 assists in a 3-1 win over Pikeville.
• Recorded 1 double-double.
• Also had 22 digs, 1 block, and 6 aces.
• This is her first weekly honor of the season.
