Week 1: AAC Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week

WALESKA, Ga. - Carissa Wilson of Bryan is the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week, the league announced Monday.
This is the first edition of the weekly honors for the 2025 season. The next set of awards will be announced on Sept. 15.

Carissa Wilson - Bryan - Senior
- Won the Mountainside Stride, crossing the line first out of a field of 46 runners.
- Posted a 6K time of 23:48.6.
- Was 1 second off her own school record.
- This is her first weekly award this season.
